The AIMB-219 motherboard offers an impressive range of processor options, including the Atom® N series, Atom® x7000RE and the Intel® Core™ i3-N series. Of particular note is the Intel® Core™ i3-N305, which is equipped with up to 8 cores, a burst frequency of 3.8 GHz and a TDP of under 15W. This configuration enables exceptional computing power and energy efficiency.
The integrated Intel® UHD Graphics based on Intel® Xe® architecture with up to 32 EUs doubles the 3D Mark performance compared to the Intel® Core™ ULT processor (i3-8145U). The motherboard also features versatile interfaces, including three independent displays (1 x DP via USB Type-C, 1 x HDMI up to 4K, 1 x LVDS or eDP) and numerous expansion options such as M.2 B-Key and E-Key for wireless connections.
Performance features of the AIMB-219
The AIMB-219 not only impresses with its hardware, but also with its specific performance features. The Intel® Core™ i3-N305 offers a 2.5-fold improvement in computing power compared to its predecessors. The Atom® N97, another member of the N series, shows a 1.6-fold increase in computing power and a 2-fold improvement in graphics performance over the previous Atom generation.
An outstanding feature of the AIMB-219 is its fanless thermal design, which enables silent operation while improving system compactness. This design, along with the ability to operate in a wide temperature range of -20 to +70°C, makes the AIMB-219 ideal for use in harsh environments. The motherboard also supports a variety of I/Os, including 3 x USB 3.2 Gen 2, 5 x USB 2.0, 1 x USB Type-C and 6 x COM ports, ensuring seamless connectivity and expandability.
Versatile application scenarios
Thanks to its robust design and extensive range of functions, the AIMB-219 is suitable for numerous application scenarios. In industrial automation, its temperature resistance and reliable operation ensure that production processes run smoothly even in extreme environments. For outdoor kiosks, the motherboard’s ruggedized design offers reliable performance in harsh weather conditions.
Digital signage applications benefit from the silent and compact design of the AIMB-219, which ensures high visual output quality and a pleasant user experience. In medical diagnostics, especially for in vitro diagnostic (IVD) medical devices, the motherboard is ideally suited thanks to its quiet operation and compact dimensions. In addition, the AIMB-219 supports integration into mobile systems thanks to its space-saving design and comprehensive connectivity options. For self-service kiosks and entertainment devices, support for ccTalk and TTL protocols via serial ports provides reliable data transmission and easy system integration.
